静岡県富士宮市にある富士山本宮浅間大社へ行ってきました。

富士山周辺にはさまざまな観光スポットがありますが、今回訪れて特に印象に残ったのが、神社そのものだけでなく、境内を流れる透き通った水と周辺の街並みです。

私たちは平日に訪れたこともあり、比較的ゆっくりと参拝することができました。

参拝後には周辺を散策し、富士宮名物の「富士宮やきそば」も堪能。

「神社を参拝して終わり」ではなく、富士山の自然・歴史・グルメをまとめて楽しめる場所だと感じました。

富士山本宮浅間大社とは？

富士山本宮浅間大社は、静岡県富士宮市にある神社です。

正式名称は**「富士山本宮浅間大社（ふじさんほんぐうせんげんたいしゃ）」**。

全国各地にある浅間神社の総本宮として知られています。

富士山と深いつながりを持つ神社であり、富士山を信仰の対象としてきた日本の文化を感じられる場所でもあります。

主祭神として祀られているのは、**浅間大神（木花之佐久夜毘売命／このはなのさくやひめのみこと）**です。

現在の本殿・拝殿・楼門などは、徳川家康の寄進によって造営されたものとされています。

また、富士山本宮浅間大社や境内にある湧玉池などは、世界文化遺産「富士山－信仰の対象と芸術の源泉」の構成資産にも含まれています。

ただ歴史ある神社を見るだけではなく、

「なぜ昔から人々が富士山を特別な存在として見てきたのか」

ということを実際の景色や水に触れながら感じられる場所だと思います。

富士山本宮浅間大社の由来

富士山本宮浅間大社の歴史は非常に古く、富士山の噴火を鎮めるための信仰と深く関係してきたとされています。

現在の御祭神である木花之佐久夜毘売命は、浅間大神として祀られています。

富士山というと、現在では美しい山・観光地というイメージが強いですが、火山でもあります。

昔の人々にとって富士山は、美しさと同時に大きな自然の力を持った存在でした。

その富士山を鎮め、平穏を願う場所として浅間大神への信仰が広がり、全国各地に浅間神社が建てられていったとされています。

その中心となるのが富士山本宮浅間大社です。

実際に現地を訪れてみると、神社のすぐ近くを非常にきれいな水が流れており、

「富士山を信仰の対象としてきた理由が、なんとなく分かる気がする」

と思える独特の雰囲気があります。

歴史をあまり詳しく知らなくても十分楽しめますが、こうした背景を少し知ってから訪れると、境内の見え方も変わると思います。

富士宮観光の最初の目的地としても組み込みやすいと思います。

電車で行く場合

最寄り駅は、

JR身延線「富士宮駅」

です。

富士宮駅から富士山本宮浅間大社までは徒歩約10分。

駅から徒歩圏内なので、車を使わずに観光したい人にも行きやすい場所です。

富士宮駅周辺から浅間大社周辺まで市街地が続いているため、散策しながら向かうのも良いと思います。

車で行く場合

車の場合、公式サイトでは、

• 東名高速「富士IC」から西富士バイパス経由で約20分
• 新東名高速「新富士IC」から西富士バイパス経由で約15分

と案内されています。

富士山周辺の観光スポットを何か所か回る予定なら、車の方が動きやすいでしょう。

駐車場はある？

富士山本宮浅間大社には駐車場があります。

通常時の普通車は、

1時間200円

で、参拝者の場合は30分以内の出庫なら無料です。

1日利用の場合は1,500円となっています。

駐車場の利用時間は午前5時から午後7時までですが、出庫については24時間可能とされています。

また、少し歩いても問題なければ「神田川観光駐車場」という市営駐車場もあります。

こちらから浅間大社までは徒歩約5分です。

正月や大きな祭事の時期は周辺道路や駐車場が混雑するため、通常の平日とは状況が大きく異なる点には注意が必要です。

実際に富士山本宮浅間大社へ行ってきた感想

ここからは、私たちが実際に訪れて感じたことを書いていきます。

平日に行ったので、ゆっくり参拝できた

私たちが訪れたのは平日でした。

そのためか、境内はそれほど混雑しておらず、比較的ゆっくり見て回ることができました。

有名な観光地や神社は、人が多すぎると景色を見るよりも人を避けることに意識が向いてしまうことがあります。

今回はそのようなこともなく、境内の建物や周囲の自然を自分たちのペースで見ることができました。

静かな神社の雰囲気を楽しみたいのであれば、可能なら平日を狙うのも良いと思います。

ただし、季節や祭事によって混雑状況は変わるので、平日なら必ず空いているというわけではありません。

一番印象に残ったのは、透き通った水

富士山本宮浅間大社を訪れて、個人的にかなり印象に残ったのが水の美しさです。

境内には「湧玉池（わくたまいけ）」があります。

湧玉池は富士山の伏流水によって形成された池で、そこを水源として神田川が流れています。

実際に見てみると、水が驚くほど澄んでいました。

普段、街中を流れている川を見慣れていると、その透明度の違いがよく分かります。

川底まで見えるほどきれいな水が流れていて、

「本当に富士山の近くまで来たんだな」

と実感した瞬間でした。

神社なので、参拝することが一番の目的ではあるのですが、私としてはこの水の景色まで含めて富士山本宮浅間大社だと思います。

富士山そのものを見るだけではなく、富士山に降った雨や雪が長い時間をかけて地下を通り、湧水として現れる。

そう考えながら水を見ると、より「霊峰富士」という言葉がしっくりきました。

富士宮市も、湧玉池を水源とする神田川について、富士山の伏流水の恵みを感じられる地域景観として紹介しています。

神社を訪れたら、社殿だけ見て帰るのではなく、ぜひ湧玉池や神田川の周辺まで歩いてみてほしいです。

神社の周辺は散歩するだけでも楽しい

訪れる前は、

「浅間大社を参拝して、そのまま次の場所へ移動する」

くらいに考えていました。

しかし、実際に歩いてみると周辺には飲食店やカフェなどもあり、想像していた以上に散策を楽しめました。

神社というと、参拝後はすぐ車や電車に戻るような観光地もあります。

富士山本宮浅間大社の場合は、周辺を歩きながら、

「何か食べようか」

「このお店も見てみようか」

と寄り道できるのが良かったです。

歴史的な神社と、比較的新しいおしゃれなお店が同じエリアにあるのも面白いところ。

私たちは特に急いでいなかったので、神社周辺をのんびり歩く時間そのものを楽しむことができました。

富士宮に来たなら「富士宮やきそば」も食べてほしい

そして富士宮まで来たので、富士宮やきそばも食べました。B級グルメとして有名だったので、一度は食べてみたいと思い、調べたのですが、あたりには数多くの富士宮焼きそばのお店がありました。

私は、「むすびや」さんで食べることにしました。

これは大正解でした。同じ「焼きそば」でも、普段家で作るものとは食感や雰囲気が違い、ご当地グルメを食べている感覚があります。

麺は普段食べている焼きそばよりもしっかりとした食感があり、食べ応えがありました。観光地の名物というだけではなく、「富士宮まで来たらもう一度食べたい」と思える味でした。浅間大社から歩いて食べに行けるので、参拝とセットにしやすかったのも良かったです。

奥にある水も湧水を飲むスタイルだったのですが、水が澄んでいて、おいしいと感じました。

観光地に行くと、

「せっかくここまで来たのだから、その土地ならではのものを食べたい」

と思うタイプなので、富士宮やきそばを食べられたのは満足度が高かったです。

浅間大社周辺には飲食店もあるため、

浅間大社を参拝 → 周辺を散策 → 富士宮やきそば

という流れはかなりおすすめです。

神社だけなら比較的短時間で観光できますが、食事や散策を組み合わせることで、富士宮観光として一気に充実した内容になります。

車なら御殿場プレミアム・アウトレットと組み合わせるのもあり

今回、私たちは車で来ていたのでそのあとに御殿場方面にも行きましたが、

「浅間大社と御殿場プレミアム・アウトレットを同じ日に回るのも良さそう」

と感じました。

ただし、ここは少し注意。

富士山本宮浅間大社から御殿場プレミアム・アウトレットまでは、すぐ隣という距離ではありません。

車の場合、有料道路を利用しておおむね45分程度、一般道中心なら1時間程度が目安です。

そのため、

「浅間大社のついでに少し寄る」

というより、

「富士宮＋御殿場を1日で巡るドライブプラン」

として考えるのがおすすめです。

という流れ。

これなら神社・自然・ご当地グルメ・ショッピングと、かなり違ったジャンルの観光を1日で楽しめます。

御殿場プレミアム・アウトレット自体も富士山を望める大型ショッピングリゾートなので、富士山周辺旅行というテーマとも相性が良いと思います。

ただ、電車やバスだけで2か所を回ろうとすると移動に時間がかかるため、このプランは特に車で旅行する人向けです。

私がおすすめしたい富士宮観光の回り方

実際に訪れた経験から、初めて富士山本宮浅間大社へ行くのであれば、神社だけを目的地にするより周辺も一緒に回ることをおすすめします。

例えば半日なら、

という流れ。

富士宮駅から浅間大社までは徒歩約10分なので、車を使わなくても十分楽しめます。

車ならさらに行動範囲を広げられます。

富士山周辺にはほかにも観光スポットが多いため、

「午前は富士宮、午後は別エリア」

という旅行にも向いています。

富士山本宮浅間大社はこんな人におすすめ

実際に訪れてみて、特におすすめしたいのは次のような人です。

• 富士山周辺を観光する人
• 神社や歴史が好きな人
• 夫婦でのんびり散策したい人
• ご当地グルメも楽しみたい人
• きれいな水や自然を見るのが好きな人
• 車で富士宮・御殿場方面を回る人

反対に、

「巨大なテーマパークのように1日中遊べる場所」

ではありません。

浅間大社そのものをじっくり見ても、それだけで丸一日必要になる場所ではないと思います。

だからこそ、富士宮の街歩きやグルメ、ほかの観光地と組み合わせるのがおすすめです。

富士山本宮浅間大社へ行く前に知っておきたいポイント

最後に、今回訪れた経験を含めて、事前に知っておくと良いと思った点をまとめます。

① 神社だけで帰らず湧玉池まで見る

個人的にはかなり重要です。

富士山本宮浅間大社を訪れたら、ぜひ湧玉池や神田川まで見てください。

富士山の伏流水による透き通った水は、写真で見る以上に印象に残りました。

② 富士宮やきそばを食べる時間を残しておく

せっかく富士宮まで来たのであれば、ご当地グルメも一緒に楽しみたいところです。

参拝だけで予定を詰めず、昼食や食べ歩きの時間を入れておくと満足度が高くなると思います。

③ 周辺散策の時間も確保する

浅間大社の周辺には飲食店などがあるため、予定を詰め込みすぎず歩いてみるのがおすすめです。

私たちも周辺のお店を見ながら散策する時間を楽しめました。

④ 車なら少し離れた観光地とも組み合わせやすい

富士宮周辺だけでなく、御殿場方面まで行動範囲を広げられるのが車旅のメリットです。

ただし富士山本宮浅間大社から御殿場プレミアム・アウトレットまでは45分〜1時間程度かかるので、移動時間はあらかじめ予定に入れておきましょう。

まとめ｜浅間大社だけでなく「富士宮の街」まで楽しんでほしい

今回、富士山本宮浅間大社を訪れてみて、想像していた以上に楽しむことができました。

もちろん歴史ある神社そのものも魅力なのですが、私が特に印象に残ったのは、富士山の伏流水によって生まれた透き通った水です。

湧玉池から神田川へと流れていく水を見ていると、「霊峰富士」という言葉が単なる表現ではなく、昔から富士山が特別な存在として扱われてきた理由を少し感じられた気がしました。

また、平日に訪れたこともあり、比較的落ち着いた雰囲気の中で参拝できたのも良かったです。

参拝後は周辺のお店を見ながら歩き、富士宮やきそばも食べることができました。

個人的には、

「富士山本宮浅間大社だけを見る」

というよりも、

「浅間大社＋湧玉池＋神田川＋富士宮グルメ＋街歩き」

までセットにするのがおすすめです。

車で訪れるのであれば、さらに御殿場プレミアム・アウトレットなどを組み合わせて1日の旅行プランにするのも面白いと思います。

富士山を見るだけではなく、富士山が育んだ水や、その周辺で発展した街まで感じられるのが富士宮の魅力。

富士山周辺へ旅行する予定がある方は、ぜひ富士山本宮浅間大社にも立ち寄ってみてください。

株主優待というと、QUOカードや商品券、食事券などをイメージする人も多いと思いますが、フランスベッドの株主優待は少し変わっています。

一定期間以上株式を保有すると、用意された優待品と交換したり、株主優待専用のネットショップで商品を購入したりと、自分で使い道を選べるのが特徴です。

私も今回、実際に株主優待を受け取りました。

最初は、

「コーヒーメーカーにしようかな」

「ブレンダーもいいかもしれない」

などと考えていたのですが、最終的に選んだのは血圧計でした。

なぜフランスベッドの株主優待なのに血圧計なのか？

この記事では、

① フランスベッドの株主優待が届きました

今回、フランスベッドホールディングスから株主関係の書類と一緒に、株主優待の案内が届きました。

株主優待というと「商品がそのまま送られてくる」という会社もありますが、フランスベッドの場合、保有期間などの条件を満たしていれば、複数の選択肢の中から自分で使い道を決められます。

これが個人的にはかなり面白いところでした。

決まった商品が送られてくる場合、

「ありがたいけれど、家では使わないな……」

となってしまう可能性があります。

一方、選択肢があると、

「せっかくなら何をもらおう？」

と考える時間そのものを楽しめます。

私も案内を見てからすぐには決めませんでした。

家の中を見ながら、

「これって本当に必要かな？」

「せっかくの優待だから普段買わないものにする？」

など、かなり悩みました。

結果的に血圧計を選んだのですが、こうして自分の生活に必要なものを改めて考える機会になるのも、選択型の株主優待ならではだと思います。

② フランスベッドHDの株主優待とは？

フランスベッドホールディングスは、その名前の通りフランスベッドをグループに持つ企業です。

「フランスベッド＝ベッドやマットレス」というイメージが強いかもしれませんが、株主優待については寝具だけに限定されていません。

2026年3月期の株主優待は、2026年3月31日時点の株主名簿に記載または記録されている200株以上の保有者が対象となっています。

さらに、保有期間によって内容が変わります。

1年未満の場合

200株以上を保有していても、保有期間が1年未満の場合は、2026年3月期では3,000円相当のタオル製品が対象です。

そのため、

「200株買ったから、すぐ1万円分の商品を選べる！」

というわけではありません。

ここは優待目的でフランスベッドを検討している人にとって、かなり重要なポイントだと思います。

1年以上保有すると選択肢が増える

1年以上継続して200株以上を保有すると、

• 羽毛ふとんリフォームで使う
• 優待品との交換
• 株主優待ネットショップで使う
• 慈善団体へ寄付する

といった選択肢から選べるようになります。

また、フランスベッド公式の案内では、1年以上5年未満のゴールドコースでは10,000円分、5年以上のプラチナコースでは15,000円分として利用できる仕組みになっています。

つまり、単に株を持っているだけでなく、長く保有するほど優待内容が充実する設計になっています。

「1年以上」の判定には注意

ここも勘違いしやすそうなので注意が必要です。

フランスベッドホールディングスでは、1年以上の継続保有について、同一株主番号で3月31日現在の株主名簿に連続して2回以上、かつ200株以上保有していることを条件としています。5年以上の場合は連続6回以上です。

単純に「購入日から365日経った瞬間に優待がアップグレードされる」という意味ではありません。

株主優待を目的に保有する場合は、この条件を事前に確認しておいたほうがいいでしょう。

③ 実際に届いた優待案内を紹介

実際の株主優待の案内を見ると、フランスベッドらしく寝具関連の商品が豊富です。

2026年の交換対象商品には、例えば、

ラグジュアリーピローケース、ウミガメピロー、バイオベッドパッド、マットレスカバー、マットレスプロテクターなど、寝具メーカーらしいラインナップが用意されています。

「フランスベッドの株主になったのだから、せっかくなら寝具を選ぶ」というのも当然ありだと思います。

一方で、私は優待品との交換だけでなく、株主優待ネットショップを利用することにしました。

ネットショップの場合、用意された交換品だけに限定されず、自分の生活に合わせて商品を探せるのが魅力です。

ただし、ネットショップの利用にも特徴があります。

2026年の公式案内によれば、ネットショップは1回の注文で利用する仕組みで、優待額との差額を翌年に繰り越すことはできません。一方、優待額を超える商品については、超過分を支払うことで購入できます。

だからこそ、

「何を選べば一番自分に合っているのか」

を考える必要があります。

個人的には、この時間が結構楽しかったです。

④ どんな商品から選べる？

最初にフランスベッドの株主優待と聞いたときは、

「ベッドや枕などの寝具だけなのかな？」

と思っていました。

ところが実際に商品を見てみると、選択肢は思っていた以上にあります。

もちろんフランスベッドらしい寝具関連商品は有力候補です。

寝具は毎日使用するものなので、枕やベッドパッドなどを交換するきっかけとして株主優待を利用するのもいいでしょう。

一方、株主優待ネットショップを使えば、それ以外の商品も候補になります。

私は最初、コーヒーメーカーかブレンダーを考えていました。

どちらも家にあったら便利ですし、

「株主優待でもらえるならちょうどいい」

と思ったからです。

ただ、ここで少し迷いました。

コーヒーメーカーは欲しいけれど、優待で決めてしまっていいのか？

私はコーヒーメーカー自体には興味があったのですが、他のメーカーの商品にも気になるものがありました。

コーヒーメーカーは、一度買えばある程度長く使う家電です。

だから、

「株主優待があるからという理由だけで決めてしまっていいのか？」

という気持ちが出てきました。

ブレンダーについても同じです。

せっかくなら性能や使いやすさなどを比較して、本当に欲しいメーカーの商品を買いたい。

そう考えると、なかなか決断できませんでした。

株主優待だからといって無理に商品を選び、結局使わなくなってしまったら、もったいないですよね。

そこで方針を変えました。

「自分ではなかなか買わないけれど、あったら生活に役立ちそうなもの」

を探すことにしました。

そこで目に入ったのが血圧計でした。

⑤ 私が選んだ商品は「血圧計」

最終的に、私はフランスベッドの株主優待を使って血圧計を選びました。

血圧計って、個人的には少し不思議な商品だと思います。

家にあったら使える。

健康管理にも使える。

でも、

「今度の休日に血圧計を買いに行こう！」

となることは、なかなかありません。

少なくとも私はそうでした。

体重計などは比較的購入する機会がありますが、血圧計は健康診断などで血圧を測る機会があることもあって、自宅用をわざわざ購入しようとはこれまで思っていませんでした。

だからこそ、

「こういうものを株主優待でもらうのはありかもしれない」

と思ったのです。

お酒が好きだからこそ、健康を意識するきっかけにしたかった

私はお酒を飲むのが好きです。

だから、

「最近ちょっと飲みすぎたかもしれないな」

と思うこともあります。

血圧計が家にあれば、そういうときに健康を意識する一つのきっかけになります。

もちろん、血圧計があるからお酒を好きなだけ飲んでも大丈夫、という意味ではありません。

ただ、これまで自宅ではほとんど血圧を測る習慣がなかったので、株主優待をきっかけに自分の体の状態を意識する習慣を作るのは悪くないと思いました。

「飲みすぎたな」と思ったときだけでなく、普段から定期的に確認するようにしたいと思っています。

使ってみた感想

これまで自宅で血圧計を使う習慣がなかったため、最初は「きちんと使えるかな？」と思っていました。

実際に使ってみると説明書も分かりやすく、初めてでも特に迷うことなく測定できました。血圧を測るだけならそれほど時間もかからないので、これなら日常生活にも取り入れやすそうです。

また、今回選んだ血圧計は2人分の測定結果を記録できます。

夫婦それぞれの記録を残せるので、我が家にはちょうどよい機能でした。

健康管理というと「毎日続けるのが大変そう」というイメージもありましたが、実際に測ってみると短時間で終わります。これなら健康を意識したときだけではなく、定期的に測る習慣も続けやすそうだと感じました。

自分ではなかなか購入しなかった血圧計ですが、株主優待をきっかけに家に置くことができたので、結果的には選んでよかったと思っています。

「欲しいもの」ではなく「自分では買わないもの」を選ぶのも面白い

今回株主優待を利用して感じたのが、普通の買い物とは商品選びの基準が少し変わるということです。

自分のお金だけで買い物をすると、

「絶対に欲しいもの」

を優先しがちです。

一方、株主優待の場合、

「自分ではお金を出してまで買わないけれど、あったら便利なもの」

という選び方ができます。

今回の私にとって、それが血圧計でした。

コーヒーメーカーやブレンダーの場合、「別のメーカーの商品が欲しくなるかもしれない」という迷いがありました。

でも血圧計なら、

「これを機会に家に一つ置いておこう」

と比較的すんなり決められました。

結果的に、株主優待らしい使い方ができたのではないかと思っています。

来年は何を選ぶ？

今回血圧計を選んだからといって、来年も健康関連の商品を選ぶつもりというわけではありません。

むしろ、その時の生活で必要になっているものを選びたいと思っています。

例えば、

家の寝具が古くなっていれば寝具。

キッチン家電が欲しくなっていれば家電。

そのほか生活の中で必要になった商品があれば、その商品。

毎年まったく同じものが届く優待ではないからこそ、

「今年は何にしよう？」

と考えられるのが、フランスベッドの株主優待の面白さだと感じました。

⑥ フランスベッドの株主優待を受け取って感じたメリット・注意点

実際に株主優待を受け取ってみて、「いいな」と感じた部分がある一方、事前に知っておいたほうがいいと感じた部分もありました。

特に株主優待を目的としてフランスベッドホールディングスの株式を検討している人は、制度を理解してから判断したほうがいいと思います。

注意点① 200株以上必要

まず、フランスベッドホールディングスの2026年3月期の株主優待対象は200株以上です。

「株主優待銘柄は100株保有すればもらえる」と思っている人は注意が必要です。

必要な投資金額は株価によって変わりますので、購入を検討する場合は最新株価を確認してください。

注意点② 商品を自由に選べるのは1年以上保有してから

今回私が利用したように、複数の使い道から選択できるようになるには、1年以上の継続保有が必要です。

200株を購入して最初の基準日を迎えたからといって、すぐに1万円分をネットショップで利用できるわけではありません。

1年未満の場合、2026年3月期は3,000円相当のタオル製品です。

そのため、

「優待品が欲しいから直前に株を購入しよう」

という考え方とは、あまり相性がよくありません。

フランスベッドの優待を魅力に感じるのであれば、長期保有をおすすめします。

注意点③ 1万円を超える商品は差額が必要

私の場合は1年以上5年未満のゴールドコースなので、優待として利用できるのは10,000円分です。

だからといって、1万円以下の商品だけしか購入できないわけではありません。

株主優待ネットショップでは、利用額を超えた場合、超過分を後払いやクレジットカードで支払うことができます。

例えば欲しい商品が1万円を少し超えていても、差額を支払って選ぶことができます。

これは便利です。

ただし、

「せっかく1万円分あるから……」

と、必要以上に高いものを選び始めると、結局かなり追加でお金を使う可能性もあります。

私はまず、

逆に「1万円だからこそ真剣に選べる」のが楽しい

最初は、

「1万円分なら何にしよう？」

と思いました。

でも商品を探しているうちに、この金額がちょうどよく感じてきました。

10万円分の商品を自由に選べるのであれば選択肢が多すぎますし、数百円程度ならそれほど悩まないでしょう。

1万円くらいだからこそ、

「これを選んだら本当に使うかな？」

「普段買わないものにする？」

「少し追加料金を払って別の商品にする？」

など、かなり吟味できます。

株主優待は商品そのものだけでなく、何を選ぶか考える時間も楽しみの一つなのだと今回感じました。

注意点④ 申込期限がある

株主優待は、いつまでも使用できるわけではありません。

2026年3月期分については、株主優待の申込・利用期限が2026年12月31日までとされています。電話での申し込みについては12月25日17時までです。

期限を過ぎた優待を翌年度に繰り越すこともできません。

「あとで決めよう」

と思ってそのまま忘れてしまわないように注意したいところです。

特に私のように商品選びで迷うタイプの人は、案内が届いたら一度ネットショップを見ておくことをおすすめします。

実際にもらって感じたフランスベッド株主優待のメリット

実際に利用してみて、私が特によかったと感じたのは、その年の自分に必要なものを選べることです。

決まった食べ物が届く優待も嬉しいですし、金券タイプにもメリットがあります。

ただ、フランスベッドのように、

「何に使おうかな？」

と考えられるタイプの優待も面白いです。

今回は血圧計。

来年は寝具になるかもしれません。

数年後には全く違う商品を選んでいるかもしれません。

生活環境は年々変化します。

今回はフランスベッドホールディングスから届いた株主優待について紹介しました。

私は最初、コーヒーメーカーやブレンダーを候補にしていました。

しかし、他メーカーで気になる商品もあったことから決断できず、最終的には普段なかなか自分では購入しない血圧計を選びました。

株主優待だからといって、とにかく金額的に得な商品を探す必要はないと思います。

私自身、今回選んでみて感じたのは、

「今の生活にあったら便利だけれど、自分ではなかなか買わないものを選ぶ」

という使い方も面白いということです。

一方、フランスベッドの株主優待には注意点もあります。

200株以上の保有が必要で、自由に商品などを選べるようになるには1年以上の継続保有が必要です。さらに優待には申込期限もあります。

そのため、株主優待だけを見て安易に株式を購入するのではなく、制度や投資リスクを確認した上で判断する必要があります。

ただ、すでに株主として条件を満たしている人にとっては、毎年、

「今年は何を選ぼう？」

と考える楽しみがある株主優待ではないでしょうか。

私も来年また優待を受け取ることができたら、その時の生活で一番必要だと思ったものを選ぼうと思います。

三重県鳥羽市を代表する観光スポットの一つが「鳥羽水族館」です。

鳥羽水族館と聞くと、ジュゴンやラッコを思い浮かべる方が多いかもしれません。しかし、実際に館内を歩いてみると、それ以外にも珍しい生きものが数多く展示されており、想像していた以上に見応えのある水族館でした。

私たちが鳥羽水族館を訪れたのは、今年の7月です。

夏の鳥羽は日差しが強く、屋外を長時間歩くのはなかなか大変ですが、鳥羽水族館の中は冷房が効いていて涼しく、暑さを気にせずのんびり散策できました。

小さな子どもを連れた家族はもちろん、夫婦やカップルでゆっくり過ごしたい方にもおすすめです。

この記事では、実際に7月に鳥羽水族館を訪れた感想を中心に、館内の特徴やアクセス方法、印象に残ったアフリカマナティー、参加できなかったセイウチとのふれあいなどについて紹介します。

これから鳥羽旅行を計画している方の参考になれば幸いです。

鳥羽水族館とは？

鳥羽水族館は、三重県鳥羽市にある大型の水族館です。

館内では約1,200種類の生きものが飼育されており、飼育種類数の多さでは日本最大級を誇ります。一般的な魚だけではなく、海獣、両生類、爬虫類、淡水に暮らす生きものなど、幅広い種類の生きものに出会えることが大きな特徴です。

特に有名なのが、人魚伝説のモデルともいわれるジュゴンです。

鳥羽水族館は、日本で唯一ジュゴンを飼育・展示している水族館として知られています。館内の「人魚の海」エリアでは、ゆっくり泳ぐジュゴンの姿を観察できます。

さらに、鳥羽水族館ではジュゴンと同じ海牛類に分類されるアフリカマナティーも飼育されています。

ジュゴンとアフリカマナティーの両方を同じ水族館で見られることも、鳥羽水族館ならではの大きな魅力です。

有名な動物だけを急いで見て回るのではなく、珍しい生きものを探しながら館内をゆっくり歩くのがおすすめです。

7月の鳥羽水族館は涼しくて快適だった

私たちが鳥羽水族館を訪れたのは7月でした。

鳥羽駅から水族館まで歩いて向かう間は、夏らしい暑さを感じましたが、館内に入ると一気に涼しくなります。

基本的には屋内展示が中心なので、外の気温や日差しをあまり気にせず見学できます。真夏の旅行では、屋外の観光地ばかりを回ると体力を消耗してしまいますが、鳥羽水族館なら休憩を挟みながら自分たちのペースで過ごせました。

水槽の中をゆっくり泳ぐ魚を眺めていると、視覚的にも涼しく感じられます。

館内にはベンチや休憩できる場所もあるため、すべての展示を急いで回る必要はありません。気になった水槽の前で少し立ち止まったり、疲れたら休憩したりしながら、のんびり散策できます。

夏休みの時期は家族連れで混雑することもありますが、暑い日に安心して楽しめる観光先としては、非常に使いやすい場所だと思います。

伊勢志摩旅行では伊勢神宮や街歩きなど、屋外を歩く機会も多くなります。その中に鳥羽水族館を組み込むことで、暑さを避けながら楽しむ時間を確保できます。

「夏の旅行だけれど、ずっと炎天下を歩き続けるのは避けたい」という方にもおすすめです。

鳥羽水族館には決められた順路がない

実際に館内を歩いて驚いたのが、鳥羽水族館には決められた観覧順路がないことです。

一般的な水族館では、入口から出口まで一方向に進むように展示が配置されていることがあります。しかし、鳥羽水族館では、どのエリアから見始めても問題ありません。

公式の館内案内でも、「観覧順路がないので、どこから観てもOK」と案内されています。

自分たちが特に見たい動物のエリアへ最初に向かったり、混雑している展示を後回しにしたりできるのは、大きなメリットです。

例えば、ショーやお食事タイムまで時間がある場合、近くの展示を見てから会場へ向かうこともできます。一度通り過ぎた場所に戻ることもできるため、自由度の高い見学方法になっています。

一方で、順路がないからこその難しさも感じました。

来館者がそれぞれ違う方向へ移動するため、館内には複数の人の流れができます。

右へ進む人、左へ戻る人、展示の前で立ち止まる人が重なると、場所によっては少し歩きづらく感じました。特に人気のある動物の展示前や通路が狭くなっている場所では、人の動きが読みづらいことがあります。

小さな子どもを連れている場合や、ベビーカーを利用している場合は、周囲を確認しながら進んだほうがよさそうです。

それでも、順路が決められていないことで、「見たいものを優先して見られる」という利点は大きいと感じました。

入館したら最初に館内マップとイベント時間を確認し、その日の回り方を簡単に決めておくと、より効率よく楽しめると思います。

画像は水槽の一つですが、確実にとある映画の組み合わせをしていたりしてみていて楽しかったです。

日本では鳥羽水族館でしか見られないアフリカマナティー

今回の鳥羽水族館で、私が特に楽しみにしていた動物の一つがアフリカマナティーです。

鳥羽水族館で飼育されているアフリカマナティーは、日本ではここでしか見ることができません。ほかの国内施設で飼育されているアメリカマナティーやアマゾンマナティーとは異なる種類です。

大きな体をしているものの、全体的に丸みがあり、非常に穏やかそうな姿をしています。

水中を泳いでいる姿を見ると迫力がありそうですが、顔や体つきにはどこか愛嬌があります。ゆったりとした動きも含めて、見ているだけで癒やされる動物です。

ただ、私たちが見に行ったとき、マナティーはお昼寝中でした。

水槽の中でほとんど動かず、基本的にはじっと眠っていました。時々、呼吸をするために水面へ上がってきますが、息を吸うと再び水中へ戻って眠ってしまいます。

せっかくなら、水槽の中をゆっくり泳いだり、餌を食べたりする姿も見てみたかったので、その点は少し残念でした。

「そろそろ動くかもしれない」と期待してしばらく眺めていましたが、こちらの期待とは関係なく、気持ちよさそうに眠り続けています。

しかし、考えてみれば、これも動物園や水族館の面白さです。

動物は人間の都合に合わせて行動してくれるわけではありません。その日の時間や体調によって、活発に動いていることもあれば、ずっと眠っていることもあります。

泳ぐ姿を見られなかったことは残念でしたが、マナティーが水面へ呼吸をしに来る様子や、のんびり眠っている姿を見ることができただけでも満足でした。

実際に近くで見ると、写真や動画で見る以上にかわいらしく感じます。

大きな体で静かに眠っている姿には、不思議な安心感がありました。派手な動きをする動物ではありませんが、ずっと見ていたくなる魅力があります。

次に訪れるときは、食事中や活動している時間帯に見られたらうれしいです。

ジュゴンとマナティーの違いにも注目したい

鳥羽水族館では、アフリカマナティーだけでなく、日本で唯一飼育されているジュゴンも見ることができます。

マナティーとジュゴンは、どちらも海牛類に分類される草食性の哺乳類です。

見た目も似ていますが、尾びれの形などに違いがあります。一般的にマナティーの尾びれは丸みのある形をしているのに対して、ジュゴンはクジラやイルカに近い形の尾びれをしています。

鳥羽水族館では両方を見られるため、実際の姿を比較できるのが面白いところです。

単に「かわいい動物を見る」だけではなく、体の形や泳ぎ方の違いを観察すると、水族館の楽しみ方がさらに広がります。

私自身、マナティーを見ることを特に楽しみにしていましたが、鳥羽水族館を訪れるならジュゴンも見逃せません。

人魚伝説のモデルといわれる動物が、どのような姿で、どのように水中を泳いでいるのか、ぜひ自分の目で確認してみてください。

マナティ以外にもスナメリなど中々触れる機会がない動物もいるのでぜひ見てほしいです。

セイウチとのふれあいを楽しみにしていたものの満席

鳥羽水族館では、生きものを水槽越しに観察するだけでなく、動物をより身近に感じられるイベントも開催されています。

私たちが訪れた日には、セイウチのふれあいイベントが行われていました。

せっかく鳥羽水族館まで来たので、私も参加してみようと思い、会場へ向かいました。

しかし、到着したときにはすでに満席でした。

参加できる人数には限りがあるため、残念ながら近くでセイウチと触れ合うことはできませんでした。

仕方がないので、今回は遠くから様子を眺めることにしました。

会場では子どもたちが楽しそうにセイウチと触れ合っており、その様子を見ながら、「私も子どもたちに紛れて触れ合いたかった」と少し悔しい気持ちになりました。

セイウチは体が非常に大きく、近くで見るとかなりの迫力があります。

一方で、表情や動きには愛嬌があり、飼育員さんとのやり取りを見ているだけでも楽しめました。水槽の中で泳いでいる姿を見るのとは違い、イベントではセイウチの体の大きさや動きをより直接的に感じられます。

今回は参加できなかったので、次回こそリベンジしたいと思います。

セイウチのイベントに参加したい方は、入館後すぐに開催時間と参加方法を確認しておくことをおすすめします。

イベント内容や開催時間、参加条件は日によって変更される可能性があります。当日は館内の案内表示や公式サイトを確認し、時間に余裕を持って会場へ向かったほうが安心です。

ほかのイベントは時間が合わず断念

鳥羽水族館では、セイウチ以外にも動物のお食事タイムや各種イベントが行われています。

せっかくなら、ほかのイベントにも参加したかったのですが、私たちが館内を回る時間とうまく合わず、今回は諦めることになりました。

自由に館内を散策できる反面、何も考えずに歩いていると、気づいたときにはイベントが終わっていることがあります。

鳥羽水族館に入館したら、まずはその日のイベントスケジュールを確認するのがおすすめです。

絶対に見たいイベントがある場合は、その開催時間を中心に見学ルートを組み立てるとよいでしょう。

例えば、イベントの会場近くにある展示を先に見ておき、開始時間の少し前に移動すれば、慌てずに済みます。

私たちは順路のない館内を気ままに歩いていたため、いくつかのイベントを見逃してしまいました。

ただし、イベントに参加できなくても、館内には十分な数の展示があります。水槽を見て回るだけでも時間が足りないほどなので、「イベントを見られなかったから楽しめない」ということはありません。

今回は見られなかったイベントも、次回訪れる理由の一つになりました。

ラッコなど人気の動物は混雑に注意

鳥羽水族館では、ラッコも非常に人気があります。

国内で飼育されているラッコが鳥羽水族館の2頭のみとなったことから、公式サイトでは安全に観覧するためのルールが案内されています。2025年3月からは混雑対策として観覧方法も変更されています。

ラッコの展示周辺は、多くの来館者が集まりやすい場所です。

順路のない鳥羽水族館でも、人気動物の周辺では人の流れが集中します。立ち止まって長時間撮影するのではなく、周囲の案内やスタッフの指示に従いながら観覧しましょう。

ラッコに限らず、人気の動物を確実に見たい場合は、比較的空いている時間帯を狙うのがおすすめです。

開館直後や閉館が近づく時間帯など、館内の混雑状況を見ながら回ると、見やすくなる可能性があります。

ミキモト真珠島と一緒に観光しやすい

鳥羽水族館の大きな魅力の一つが、周辺の観光施設と組み合わせやすいことです。

特にミキモト真珠島は鳥羽水族館のすぐ近くにあり、徒歩で移動できる距離にあります。

ミキモト真珠島は、世界で初めて真珠の養殖に成功した御木本幸吉の歴史や、真珠ができる仕組み、真珠製品の加工技術などを学べる観光施設です。

鳥羽駅からミキモト真珠島までは徒歩約5分、鳥羽水族館までは徒歩約10分と案内されているため、どちらも公共交通機関で訪れやすい場所にあります。

私たちも、ミキモト真珠島と鳥羽水族館をあわせて観光しました。

同じ日に移動しやすいため、車を使わない旅行でも回りやすいのがよかったです。

ミキモト真珠島では真珠の歴史や文化に触れ、鳥羽水族館では海や川に暮らす生きものを楽しめます。施設の内容が異なるため、続けて訪れても飽きにくい組み合わせです。

鳥羽を一日観光するなら、午前中にミキモト真珠島、午後に鳥羽水族館という回り方もできます。

ただし、鳥羽水族館は展示数が非常に多いため、すべてをじっくり見ようとするとかなり時間がかかります。

イベントにも参加したい場合は、鳥羽水族館に少なくとも半日程度を確保したほうがよいでしょう。

ミキモト真珠島と鳥羽水族館の共通券がオンラインで販売される場合もあるため、両方を訪れる予定なら、旅行前に公式サイトを確認しておくのがおすすめです。

鳥羽水族館へのアクセス

鳥羽水族館の最寄り駅は、JR・近鉄の鳥羽駅です。

鳥羽駅から鳥羽水族館までは徒歩約10分です。

駅から歩いてアクセスできるため、車を運転しない旅行でも訪れやすいのが魅力です。

東京方面から向かう場合は、東海道新幹線で名古屋駅まで移動し、名古屋駅から近鉄特急またはJRで鳥羽駅を目指すルートが一般的です。

大阪や京都方面からも、近鉄特急を利用して鳥羽駅へアクセスできます。

鳥羽駅からは海沿いの景色を眺めながら歩けますが、夏は日差しが強いため、帽子や日傘、飲み物などの暑さ対策をしておくと安心です。

鳥羽水族館の料金と営業時間

2026年時点の通常入館料金は、次のとおりです。

• 大人：2,800円
• 小・中学生：1,600円
• 幼児（3歳以上）：800円

料金は変更される場合があるため、訪問前に公式サイトで最新情報を確認してください。

通常の営業時間は9時30分から17時までで、最終入館は16時です。

ゴールデンウイークや夏季、シルバーウイークなどの指定期間には、9時から17時30分までの延長営業となる場合があります。鳥羽水族館は年中無休です。

展示数が多いため、閉館直前に入館すると十分に見られない可能性があります。

できるだけ午前中か、遅くとも午後の早い時間には入館することをおすすめします。

実際に訪れて感じた鳥羽水族館の良かったところ

実際に訪れて、特に良いと感じたのは、珍しい動物の多さです。

日本で唯一飼育されているジュゴンをはじめ、日本では鳥羽水族館でしか見られないアフリカマナティーなど、「ここまで来なければ会えない動物」がいます。もちろん、写真のようなベストショットのような瞬間に立ち会えることの方が少ないかもしれませんが、後ろから見た姿などを見ることができ、個人的には感動しました。

水族館は全国各地にありますが、鳥羽水族館には鳥羽水族館ならではの明確な魅力がありました。

また、順路が決められていないため、自分たちのペースで自由に見学できるところも特徴的です。

混雑している展示を後回しにしたり、気に入った動物をもう一度見に戻ったりできます。

夏でも館内が涼しく、天候の影響を受けにくい点も大きなメリットです。

大雨の日や真夏の暑い日でも比較的予定を立てやすいため、伊勢志摩旅行の行き先として非常に使いやすいと思います。

鳥羽水族館で少し気になったところ

一方で、順路がないことにより、人の流れが複雑になりやすい点は気になりました。

MIKIMOTO真珠島の後に行ったので、午前10時半過ぎぐらいにいったのですが、入ったときにすでに人が多くなっており、細かいエリアやお土産ショップはすでに混雑していました。そこにイベントやショーが始まると人が移動する人や、そのタイミングだからこそ各エリアを見ようとする人で人の流れがすごいことになりました。

自由に回れること自体は魅力ですが、混雑している日は通路のさまざまな方向から人が来るため、歩きづらく感じることがあります。

イベントについても、人気の回は早い段階で参加枠が埋まる可能性があります。

絶対に参加したいイベントがある場合は、入館後すぐにスケジュールを確認し、早めに行動する必要があります。入館後のエントランスやパンフレットに時間が書いてあるので急がず確認することは可能です。

また、生きものが必ず活発に動いているとは限りません。今回のマナティーのように、訪れた時間によっては寝ていることもあります。マナティは肺で呼吸しているので、寝ていても呼吸のためにうきあがることがあります。それを狙って、一度別のエリアに行き、時間がたってからトライするのはよいかもしれません。

鳥羽水族館はこんな人におすすめ

鳥羽水族館は、次のような方に特におすすめです。

• ジュゴンやマナティーなど珍しい動物を見たい人
• 子どもと一緒に楽しめる観光地を探している人
• 真夏や雨の日でも快適に観光したい人
• ミキモト真珠島とあわせて鳥羽を観光したい人
• 時間に追われず、のんびり水族館を歩きたい人
• セイウチやラッコなど海獣が好きな人

子ども向けの施設という印象を持つ方もいるかもしれませんが、大人だけで訪れても十分に楽しめます。

珍しい生きものをじっくり観察したり、写真を撮ったり、気になる展示の解説を読んだりと、大人ならではの楽しみ方があります。

まとめ｜次回はセイウチとのふれあいにリベンジしたい

鳥羽水族館は、夏でも涼しい館内で、のんびりと生きものを観察できる水族館でした。

順路がないため、好きな展示から自由に回れる一方、人の流れが複雑になり、場所によっては歩きづらく感じることもあります。

それでも、自分たちのペースで見たい動物を優先できる自由度の高さは、鳥羽水族館ならではの魅力です。

特に印象に残ったのは、日本では鳥羽水族館でしか見ることができないアフリカマナティーでした。

私たちが訪れたときはお昼寝中で、呼吸をするために水面へ上がってくる以外は、ほとんど動いてくれませんでした。

元気に泳いでいる姿を見られなかったことは少し残念でしたが、大きな体で気持ちよさそうに眠っている姿もかわいらしく、十分満足できました。

セイウチのふれあいイベントは、到着した時点ですでに満席でした。

子どもたちに紛れて私も触れ合いたかったのですが、今回は遠くから眺めるだけとなりました。次に鳥羽水族館を訪れるときは、早めにイベント時間を確認し、ぜひリベンジしたいと思います。

ほかのイベントも時間が合わず参加できなかったため、次回はイベントスケジュールを中心に館内を回る予定です。

ミキモト真珠島からも近く、鳥羽駅から徒歩でアクセスできるため、車を利用しない旅行にも向いています。

Japan has no shortage of places devoted to famous characters. Travelers can visit themed cafés, flagship stores, pop-up exhibitions, and entire areas inspired by anime and games.

However, San-X Paradise at Fuji-Q Highland offers something slightly different.

Opened on August 1, 2026, San-X Paradise is a permanent outdoor themed area where visitors can step into the gentle, colorful, and sometimes surprisingly emotional world of San-X characters. It brings together internationally recognized favorites such as Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi, as well as nostalgic and less widely known characters that are often difficult to find outside Japan.

For international visitors, this is more than another cute corner of an amusement park. It is an opportunity to experience Japan’s distinctive character culture at the foot of Mount Fuji—while also enjoying one of the country’s most famous amusement parks.

Our personal favorite is Shappo, the mysterious ringmaster of Sentimental Circus. That made the opening of an entire San-X area especially exciting for our family.

After visiting, we found plenty to love: an imaginative fantasy setting, exclusive merchandise, charming photo opportunities, and a completely different atmosphere from Fuji-Q Highland’s famous roller coasters.

There were also some issues, especially with the summer heat, inefficient queues, and expensive carnival games.

Here is our honest review of San-X Paradise, including how to get there, what makes it worth visiting, and what international travelers should know before going.

What Is San-X Paradise?

San-X Paradise is a permanent themed area inside Fuji-Q Highland, an amusement park near Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture.

The approximately 6,500-square-meter area was created around the concept of combining San-X characters, relaxation, and the excitement of an amusement park. It features attractions, restaurants, shopping, character decorations, games, and special photo experiences. San-X describes it as a unique outdoor theme park where guests can experience the wider “San-X Universe.”

The area opened on August 1, 2026.

Visitors are greeted by characters including:

• Rilakkuma
• Sumikko Gurashi
• Tarepanda
• Nyan Nyan Nyanko
• Sentimental Circus
• Other classic and newer San-X characters

This variety is one of the most important reasons to visit.

In ordinary Japanese character stores, the product selection often focuses on the most commercially popular characters. Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi are widely available, while merchandise featuring older or less famous San-X creations can be harder to find.

San-X Paradise gives these different characters a shared home.

For overseas visitors who already collect Japanese stationery, plush toys, keychains, or character goods, it feels less like a single-brand attraction and more like a physical introduction to the wider history of San-X.

What Is San-X?

San-X is a Japanese company known for creating original characters and developing stationery, plush toys, household products, accessories, licensed merchandise, events, and entertainment based on them.

Its best-known characters outside Japan are probably Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi.

Rilakkuma is a relaxed bear character whose name combines the Japanese words “relax” and “kuma,” meaning bear. The character’s unhurried lifestyle and love of resting have made Rilakkuma an comforting symbol for people who feel tired by the pressures of everyday life.

Sumikko Gurashi can roughly be understood as “living in the corner.” Its characters feel safest when they gather in quiet corners, and many have unusual insecurities or backstories.

Shirokuma is a shy polar bear who dislikes the cold. Tonkatsu is the leftover edge of a pork cutlet, consisting mostly of fat. Penguin? is unsure whether it is actually a penguin.

These details show what makes San-X characters distinctive.

They are undeniably cute, but their appeal does not depend only on appearance. Many are lonely, uncertain, forgotten, shy, imperfect, or simply tired. Rather than turning those qualities into weaknesses that must be overcome, San-X often treats them with warmth and acceptance.

That emotional element helps explain why the characters appeal not only to children but also to adults.

For international travelers, San-X Paradise therefore offers an interesting look at a particularly Japanese approach to character design: one in which softness, melancholy, humor, and emotional comfort can exist together.

Although Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi are the most famous San-X creations, our family’s favorite is Shappo from Sentimental Circus.

Sentimental Circus tells the story of abandoned and forgotten toys.

When night falls and the human world is asleep, the toys quietly leave the corners of rooms and city streets. Together, they form a secret circus.

Shappo, recognizable by his long ears and purple top hat, serves as the ringmaster.

The series is visually beautiful, but its atmosphere is very different from that of many brightly colored character franchises. It combines antique circus imagery, moonlit nights, old toys, stage costumes, dreams, memory, and a gentle sense of sadness.

By Highway Bus

The disadvantage is traffic.

Roads toward Mount Fuji can become congested on weekends, public holidays, and during peak travel seasons. A bus scheduled to arrive before opening time can still be delayed.

Reserve seats in advance whenever possible, particularly during summer, autumn foliage season, and Japanese holiday periods.

Booking the return journey in advance is equally important. Waiting until the end of the day may leave visitors with limited options.

By Train

The nearest station is Fujikyu-Highland Station on the Fujikyuko Line.

A common route from central Tokyo is to travel toward Otsuki Station and then transfer to the Fujikyuko Line.

Train travel avoids highway traffic, making arrival times more predictable. However, the journey may involve transfers, and train frequency should be checked carefully—especially for the return trip.

Travelers using a Japan Rail Pass or regional rail pass should confirm which parts of the journey are covered. The Fujikyuko Line is not automatically included in every JR product.

By Car

Driving provides flexibility and is convenient for families or travelers staying elsewhere in the Mount Fuji region.

It is also useful if you expect to buy bulky merchandise.

Visitors can enjoy the area at their own pace, look for their favorite characters, take photographs, shop, and spend time appreciating the details.

Some travelers may first discover San-X through recent characters. Others may remember Tarepanda, Kogepan, or stationery they owned many years ago without ever knowing the company’s name.

At times, it was not immediately clear where a queue began, where customers should move after ordering, or how people entering the shop should pass those waiting for food.

Customers purchasing items, collecting orders, looking for seats, taking photographs, and simply walking through the area can overlap.

This makes the space feel more crowded than it needs to be.

Because San-X Paradise had only just opened, some of these problems may be temporary.

New attractions often need time to refine signs, queue positions, staffing, and crowd-control procedures based on actual visitor behavior.

We expect the system to improve.

For now, visitors should allow more time than expected for cafés and shopping.

Avoiding the most popular lunch period may help. Eating earlier or later can reduce both waiting time and stress.

International visitors should also pay close attention to staff instructions and signs. Even when English information is available, temporary queue arrangements may be explained primarily on-site.

Summer Warning: Many Queues Have Limited Shade

The most important concern for summer visitors is heat.

Some waiting areas at San-X Paradise are outdoors with little protection from direct sunlight.

The Mount Fuji area is often cooler than central Tokyo, but that does not make prolonged sun exposure safe. Clear summer days can still be extremely hot, and standing in one place may feel worse than walking.

During our visit, one play cost ¥700.

That felt expensive for a short game, particularly because there are two types of game and their difficulty levels seemed very different.

One was relatively approachable. The other was significantly harder.

When two activities cost the same amount, visitors naturally expect a similar chance of success or at least a clear explanation of the difference.

Families can spend money surprisingly quickly.

For example, if two people each try both games once, the total is ¥2,800. A second attempt brings the total to ¥5,600.

That is a substantial additional cost after transport, food, attraction tickets, and merchandise.

Before paying, watch how the game works if possible. Listen carefully to the rules and ask the staff to repeat the explanation when necessary.

International visitors should not feel embarrassed about confirming the success condition.

The games may still be worthwhile for dedicated collectors who want exclusive prizes. For casual visitors, however, spending the same amount on a guaranteed souvenir may provide better value.

For San-X fans, San-X Paradise is already worth the journey.

For international visitors planning a Tokyo or Mount Fuji itinerary, it offers something difficult to reproduce elsewhere: a day combining Japanese character culture, exclusive shopping, amusement park excitement, and the scenery of one of Japan’s most iconic regions.

And for fellow Sentimental Circus fans, there is always the hope of finding Shappo waiting somewhere inside the fantasy.

サンエックスと聞くとリラックマやすみっコぐらしを思い浮かべる人が多いと思いますが、センチメンタルサーカスにも、ほかの作品にはない幻想的で少し切ない魅力があります。今回のサンエックス パラダイスでは、そんな幅広いキャラクターたちのグッズを探せるのも大きな楽しみでした。

実際に訪れてみると、パステルカラーに包まれた空間は想像以上にファンタジー感があり、サンエックスの世界観を楽しめる場所としては非常に満足度の高いエリアでした。

一方で、オープン直後ということもあり、カフェやショップの動線、夏場の待機列、ミニゲームの価格や難易度については、今後改善してほしいと感じる部分もあります。

サンエックス パラダイスとは？

「サンエックス パラダイス」は、富士急ハイランドの園内に誕生した、サンエックスキャラクターの世界観を常設で楽しめる新エリアです。

2026年8月1日にオープンし、エリアの広さは約6,500平方メートル。オープン時には屋外アトラクション2機種が登場し、屋内アトラクションについても2026年秋以降の開業が予定されています。

サンエックスのキャラクターをテーマにしたショップやレストラン、ミニゲーム、フォトスポットなどが集まり、アトラクションに乗るだけではなく、キャラクターの世界そのものを楽しめる場所になっています。

富士急ハイランドといえば、FUJIYAMAや高飛車、ええじゃないかなど、絶叫系アトラクションのイメージが強い遊園地です。

しかし、園内にはトーマスランドやリサとガスパール タウンなど、子どもやキャラクターファンが楽しめるエリアもあります。サンエックス パラダイスの誕生によって、絶叫系アトラクションが苦手な人でも、富士急ハイランドを目的地として選びやすくなったのではないでしょうか。

特に、家族のなかで絶叫系アトラクションが好きな人と苦手な人に分かれる場合、それぞれの楽しみ方を見つけやすい点は大きな魅力です。

「絶叫マシンには乗れないから富士急へ行っても楽しめない」と思っていたサンエックスファンにとっても、新たな目的地になるエリアだと思います。

我が家の推しはセンチメンタルサーカスのシャッポ

我が家のサンエックスにおける一番の推しは、「センチメンタルサーカス」のシャッポです。

センチメンタルサーカスは、街角や部屋の片隅に忘れられたぬいぐるみたちが、夜になるとこっそり抜け出してサーカスを開くという、幻想的な世界観を持つ作品です。

そのサーカス団で団長を務めているのが、紫色の帽子をかぶったシャッポ。

シャッポをはじめとする団員たちは、とてもかわいらしい一方で、どこか儚く、少し寂しげな雰囲気をまとっています。

明るく楽しいだけではなく、アンティーク、夜、夢、記憶、忘れられたぬいぐるみといった要素が組み合わさっており、絵本のように奥行きのある世界観が魅力です。

リラックマやすみっコぐらしと比べると、センチメンタルサーカスのグッズを一般的な店舗で見かける機会は、それほど多くありません。

サンエックス パラダイスは富士急ハイランドの奥にある

初めて行く人に、事前に知っておいてほしいのが場所です。

サンエックス パラダイスは、富士急ハイランドの入口を入ってすぐの場所ではなく、園内のかなり奥にあります。

新エリアは、富士急ハイランド駅に近い第二入園口側の旧施設跡地に整備され、「鉄骨番長」や「絶望要塞」などのアトラクションに隣接する位置にあります。

利用する入園口によって体感距離は変わりますが、メインエントランス側から入った場合は、園内をある程度歩くことになります。

サンエックス パラダイスを一番の目的にするなら、富士急ハイランドへ到着した後に園内マップを確認し、最初に向かうルートを決めておくのがおすすめです。

特に真夏は、エリアへ向かうまでに歩くだけでも体力を消耗します。

子ども連れの場合や、ショップ・カフェの混雑が予想される日は、「ほかのアトラクションを見ながら最後に行こう」と考えるよりも、入園後の早い時間に向かったほうが動きやすいでしょう。

また、ショップで多くのグッズを購入する予定なら、荷物を持ったまま園内を歩くことになります。ロッカーの場所や、荷物を持って移動する時間も考えて予定を組むと安心です。

富士急ハイランドまでのアクセス

富士急ハイランドは、山梨県富士吉田市にあります。

東京方面からは、電車、高速バス、車の主に3つの方法でアクセスできます。

電車で行く場合

電車を利用する場合は、JR中央本線などで大月駅へ向かい、大月駅から富士急行線に乗り換えます。

最寄り駅は「富士急ハイランド駅」です。駅から園内へ入りやすいため、車を運転したくない人には分かりやすいルートです。

新宿方面から向かう場合は、新宿駅から大月駅までJR中央線の特急を利用し、大月駅で富士急行線へ乗り換える方法が一般的です。

乗り換えが必要になるケースはありますが、渋滞の影響を受けにくいのが電車の利点です。

ただし、富士急行線は時間帯によって列車の本数や混雑状況が変わります。帰りの時間まで考えずに行動すると、駅で長く待つ可能性があります。

サンエックス パラダイスを中心に楽しむ場合でも、帰りに利用する列車の時刻は先に確認しておきましょう。

高速バスで行く場合

東京方面からは、新宿、東京駅などから富士急ハイランド方面へ向かう高速バスもあります。

乗り換えが少なく、座って移動できることが高速バスの大きなメリットです。

小さな子どもを連れて行く場合や、電車の乗り換えを負担に感じる人にとっては、非常に便利な選択肢でしょう。

一方で、中央自動車道は休日や行楽シーズンに渋滞が発生しやすいため、到着時間が予定より遅れる可能性があります。

オープン直後の混雑時期、夏休み、連休中に利用する場合は、開園時刻よりも余裕を持って到着する便を選ぶことをおすすめします。

帰りの高速バスについても満席になる可能性があるため、往復とも早めに予約しておいたほうが安心です。

車で行く場合

東京方面から車で向かう場合は、中央自動車道を利用し、河口湖インターチェンジ方面へ向かうルートが一般的です。

富士急ハイランドには複数の駐車場が用意されており、第一・第三駐車場は普通車と大型車、第二駐車場は車高2.1メートル以下の普通車などに対応しています。

車は家族の荷物を運びやすく、サンエックス パラダイスでグッズをたくさん購入した場合にも便利です。

ただし、休日の中央自動車道は渋滞することがあります。特に夕方は、東京方面へ戻る車が集中しやすいため、帰宅時間には余裕を持たせましょう。

駐車場の利用料金や運用方法は日程によって変更される可能性があるため、出発前に富士急ハイランドの公式サイトで最新情報を確認してください。

良かった点① サンエックスの世界観が素晴らしい

サンエックス パラダイスで最も良かったのは、やはり世界観です。

遠目からサンエックスの乗り物が見え始め、ファンタジー世界の始まりを感じながら足を進めるとサンエックスのキャラクターが集まっている看板でのお出迎えし、建物などがファンタージあふれる装いとなります。

エリアへ足を踏み入れると、富士急ハイランドの絶叫系アトラクションが並ぶ雰囲気とは大きく変わり、パステルカラーを中心とした、かわいくて幻想的な空間が広がります

キャラクターのイラストや装飾を並べただけではなく、「サンエックスのキャラクターたちが暮らす不思議な場所に遊びに来た」と感じられるようなデザインになっていました。

大人にとっては、昔好きだったキャラクターと再会できる場所でもあります。

子どもの頃に使っていた文房具や小物に描かれていたキャラクターを見ると、当時の記憶がよみがえってきます。

現在人気のキャラクターと、長年サンエックスを支えてきたキャラクターが同じエリアに集まっていること自体に価値があると感じました。

もちろん、写真撮影を楽しめる場所も多くあります。自動販売機やカフェの中にキャラクターが描かれており、その前で写真撮影することができました。

キャラクターが好きな人なら、アトラクションに乗らなくても、エリアを歩いたり、装飾を見たり、写真を撮ったりするだけで十分に楽しめるでしょう。

「かわいいテーマパーク」という言葉がよく似合う、ファンタジー感あふれる場所が富士急ハイランドに誕生したと思います。

良かった点② ここでしか買えない限定グッズが多い

もう一つの大きな魅力が、グッズの充実度です。

サンエックス パラダイス内には「Clover Palace Shop」というショップがあり、エリア限定の商品を含む、多くのサンエックスグッズが用意されています。公式発表では、150種類以上の限定グッズが展開されると案内されています。

一般的なキャラクターショップでは、どうしてもリラックマやすみっコぐらしなど、現在特に知名度の高い作品が中心になりがちです。

しかし、サンエックス パラダイスでは、さまざまなキャラクターの商品を一度に探せる楽しさがあります。

普段はなかなかグッズを見つけられないキャラクターのファンにとって、「自分の推しの商品があるかもしれない」と期待しながら店内を見る時間そのものが楽しいはずです。

また、「サンエックス パラダイスに行った記念」として購入できる限定デザインの商品は、お土産にも向いています。

キャラクターが好きな家族や友人へのお土産だけでなく、自分用の記念品としても選びたくなる商品が多く、財布のひもが緩みやすい場所でした。

限定グッズは商品によって売り切れる可能性があります。

どうしても欲しい商品がある場合は、閉園前に寄るのではなく、できるだけ早い時間にショップを確認したほうがよいでしょう。

また、お土産ショップの外の待ち行列のラインに日陰やベンチはありません。もしかしたら、パラソルや人用のスプリンクラーみたいなものが設置されるかもしれませんが、公式からアナウンスがあるまでは、日傘、帽子などで熱中症にならないような対策が必須です。

キャラクターがお出かけしに来ている。

トップ画像がまさにそうなのですが、キャラクターが外に来てくれます。

当初はグリーティング施設でしか会えないと思ったのですが、キャラクターがお出かけしてくれたことがありました。私が気づいたときで、子リラックマ、いしよわちゃん、シャッポ、すみっこぐらしが別々の時間でおでかけしてました。

生のシャッポははじめ他だったので写真を撮れてよかったです。ただ、注意点としては近づいてツーショットをとるのはNGとのことなのである程度距離を離した状態での撮影となります。夏は中の人や周りの社員の方も大変なのでルールを守って撮影しましょう。

これは情報等流れていないので、黄色い感性がわいたときは何かキャラクターが出てきている可能性が高いので、耳を澄ませましょうとしか言えません（笑）

気になった点① カフェとショップの動線には無駄を感じた

世界観やグッズには満足した一方で、カフェやお土産ショップの動線には改善の余地があると感じました。

オープン直後で来場者が多いこともあり、どこに並ぶべきなのか、どの方向へ進めばよいのかが分かりにくい場面があります。

カフェで商品を注文する人、席を探す人、ショップへ向かう人、写真を撮る人の動きが重なると、必要以上に混雑しているように感じられます。

列に並んだ後で別の場所へ移動しなければならなかったり、受け取りや会計のために行き来したりと、利用者側から見ると無駄に思える動きもありました。

店内のデザインを優先した結果、実際の利用者の流れが十分に整理されていない印象です。

もちろん、2026年8月1日にオープンしたばかりのエリアです。運営側も実際の混雑状況や来場者の動きを確認しながら、案内表示や列の作り方を調整していくと思います。

現時点では、カフェやショップを利用する場合、時間に余裕を持っておくことをおすすめします。

食事の時間を少しずらしたり、家族で役割を分担したりするだけでも、混雑による負担を減らせるでしょう。

カフェは席を確保したら、券売機で職権を購入できるシステムです。私は飲み物のテイクアウトだけをしたかったのですが、中で食事する人と同じ待機列に並ぶ羽目になりました。なので、テイクアウトしたものを飲みながら別のものに並ぶのではなく、別のところに行ってから、席に座り足腰を休めながら食べたり飲んだりした方がよさそうです。

席については、社員の方が空いたら案内するシステムなので、好きな席は確保できません。ただ、中央であれば、ガチャガチャのオブジェに近いところで食べれますし、壁であればキャラクターを見ながら、広い店内を見れます。また、一部の席には人形を置けるフォトスポットのようなところがあるので、席ごとに楽しむことができます。

気になった点② 夏の待機列は日なたが多い

繰り返しになりますが、夏に訪れる人が最も注意すべきなのは、暑さです。

サンエックス パラダイスの待機列は、場所によっては日陰が少なく、ほとんど日なたで待つことになります。

富士急ハイランドは標高が高い地域にあるため、東京より涼しいイメージを持つ人もいるかもしれません。しかし、晴れた日の直射日光は強く、屋外で長時間並べば体力を奪われます。

特に注意が必要なのは、小さな子ども、高齢者、暑さに弱い人です。

アトラクションやミニゲームに夢中になっていると、水分補給を忘れやすくなります。

夏に行く場合は、飲み物、帽子、日傘、汗を拭くタオル、携帯用扇風機、冷却グッズなどを準備しておきましょう。

ただし、日傘は混雑した列のなかでは周囲の人に当たる可能性があります。使用できる状況かどうかを確認し、難しい場合は帽子などで対策する必要があります。

また、少しでも気分が悪い、頭が痛い、吐き気がする、異常に汗をかく、逆に汗が出なくなったといった変化があれば、無理に並び続けないことが大切です。

せっかく遊びに来たからと我慢せず、日陰や屋内へ移動して休憩してください。

サンエックス パラダイスを楽しむためには、待機時間だけでなく、その後も園内を歩けるだけの体力を残しておく必要があります。

気になった点③ ミニゲーム1プレイ700円は高く感じる

サンエックス パラダイスでは、キャラクターをテーマにしたミニゲームも楽しめます。

ただし、料金は1プレイ700円。

遊園地のミニゲームとして極端に珍しい金額ではないかもしれませんが、実際に遊んでみると、1回700円は少し高く感じました。家族で複数回挑戦すれば、あっという間に数千円になります。

例えば、2人で2種類のゲームに1回ずつ挑戦するだけでも合計2,800円です。うまくいかず、もう一度挑戦すれば、さらに料金がかかります。限定グッズや食事にもお金を使うことを考えると、ミニゲームに使う予算は事前に決めておいたほうがよいでしょう。

また、ゲームが2種類あるのですが、この2つは難易度にかなり差があると感じました。

シャッポのぬいぐるみがある方は、台に魚のおもちゃをセットし、おもちゃのハンマーで台をたたいて魚を飛ばし、先にある皿にのせるゲームでした。これが本当に成功条件が厳しく、最低数回はやらないとダメな奴だと思いました。

予算が潤沢にあればよいのですが、土産ショップなどのことも考慮する必要があるので、動画サイトやSNSで成功している人のプレイを見て飛ばす魚のおもちゃをどこにどうおけばよいのか、台の角度はどうしたらよいか、力加減はどうしたらよいかを研究したほうが良いです。また、当日の皿の傾き具合などは目で見て、どこでゲームをするのがよいのかは頭の中でシミュレーションしたほうがよいです。

幸いにも土産のショップ列に並んでいるときにミニゲームは見えるので列で待機しているときに見ても良いかもしれません。

ミニゲームに挑戦する場合は、スタッフの説明をよく聞き、ルールと成功条件を理解してからプレイすることが大切です。

サンエックス パラダイスへ行く前に準備したいこと

これから訪れる人は、次の点を意識しておくと、より快適に楽しめます。

まず、公式サイトや公式SNSで営業状況を確認しましょう。

サンエックス パラダイスはオープンしたばかりで、今後も屋内アトラクションの追加などが予定されています。ショップの販売商品、イベント、混雑時の運用方法などが変更される可能性があります。

次に、エリアの場所を園内マップで確認しておきましょう。

富士急ハイランドの奥にあるため、入園口によっては到着までに時間がかかります。

そして、夏は熱中症対策が必須です。

カフェに入れば必ずすぐに休めるとは限りません。飲み物を持参し、定期的に休憩を取る前提で行動してください。

最後に、グッズやミニゲームに使う予算を考えておくことをおすすめします。

まとめ：改善してほしい部分はあるが、サンエックスファンなら一度は行きたい

2026年8月1日に富士急ハイランドにオープンした「サンエックス パラダイス」は、サンエックスファンにとって待望の常設エリアです。

実際に訪れて特に良かったのは、キャラクターたちの魅力を大切にした世界観と、ここでしか買えない限定グッズの多さでした。

パステルカラーに包まれたファンタジー感のある空間は、歩いているだけでも楽しく、写真を撮りたくなる場所がたくさんあります。

リラックマやすみっコぐらしはもちろん、我が家が推しているセンチメンタルサーカスのシャッポを含め、幅広いサンエックスキャラクターを楽しめる可能性があることも大きな魅力です。

一方で、カフェやお土産ショップの動線には無駄を感じる部分がありました。

また、夏の待機列は日なたになる場所が多いため、熱中症には十分な注意が必要です。

1プレイ700円のミニゲームについても、価格はやや高く、2種類のゲームで難易度が違いすぎる点は気になりました。

とはいえ、オープンしたばかりのエリアです。

来場者の動きや意見を踏まえ、案内方法や待機列、ゲームの運用などは、これから改善されていく可能性があります。

気になる点はありましたが、サンエックスキャラクターの世界に入り込める場所としての魅力は十分に感じられました。

サンエックスが好きな人、推しキャラクターのグッズを探したい人、絶叫系アトラクション以外の目的で富士急ハイランドを楽しみたい人は、一度訪れてみる価値があると思います。

Keeping the floors clean sounds like a simple household task—until both people in the home work full-time.

In our household, vacuuming was usually postponed until the weekend. By then, a full week’s worth of hair, dust, and small debris had accumulated across the living room, hallway, bedroom, and bathroom area.

Vacuuming the entire home was already tiring enough. Mopping afterward with a disposable floor wiper was something we rarely had the time or energy to do.

That was why I started looking for a robot vacuum that could handle both vacuuming and mopping.

After comparing several models, I chose the ECOVACS DEEBOT T80 OMNI.

At first, I was skeptical. Robot vacuums often look impressive in advertisements, but I wondered whether one could really clean properly without human control.

After checking the collected dust and dirty water, however, I realized that our floors had been much dirtier than they appeared.

In this review, I will explain why I bought the DEEBOT T80 OMNI, what ECOVACS is, whether I had concerns about security, how the X, T, and N series differ, and what the machine has been like to use in everyday life.

Why We Decided to Buy a Robot Vacuum

The main reason was simple: we could not keep up with daily floor cleaning.

When both members of a household work full-time, weekday evenings quickly disappear. After coming home, there is still dinner, laundry, dishes, bathing, and preparation for the next day.

Even when I noticed hair on the floor, vacuuming every room was rarely my highest priority.

Instead, we cleaned everything on the weekend.

The problem was that postponing floor cleaning did not make the work disappear. It simply created a larger job later.

After several days, hair became especially noticeable around the bathroom, hallway, and living room. Dust collected under furniture and along the walls. By the weekend, vacuuming the whole home felt like a major chore rather than a quick task.

Mopping was even easier to neglect.

We owned disposable floor-cleaning sheets similar to Swiffer products, but vacuuming first and then manually wiping every room required more time than we usually wanted to spend.

I did not expect a robot vacuum to eliminate all cleaning. What I wanted was a machine that could prevent dirt from accumulating during the week.

That difference is important.

A robot vacuum does not need to perform a perfect deep clean every time. If it removes hair and dust every day, the home never reaches the point where weekend cleaning becomes exhausting.

What Is ECOVACS?

ECOVACS is a Chinese home robotics company best known for its DEEBOT robot vacuum cleaners.

The company was founded in 1998 and has spent more than two decades developing household robots. In addition to robot vacuums, it also produces robotic window cleaners and other automated home-cleaning products.

Before researching robot vacuums, I mainly associated the category with iRobot’s Roomba.

ECOVACS was less familiar to me, particularly because it is a Chinese brand. However, it is not a small, recently established manufacturer selling generic appliances under an unfamiliar name.

Its current DEEBOT models combine navigation, room mapping, obstacle avoidance, vacuuming, mopping, automatic dust collection, and mop maintenance.

What attracted me most was the company’s focus on automating the entire floor-cleaning process.

Some robot vacuums are primarily vacuum cleaners with a wet cloth attached underneath. The T80 OMNI is designed as a vacuum-and-mop system, complete with a multifunction cleaning station.

That made it more suitable for our situation because water mopping was one of the tasks we were consistently failing to do.

Is a Chinese Robot Vacuum Safe to Use?

This was one of my biggest concerns before buying it.

A modern robot vacuum is not just a motorized appliance. It connects to Wi-Fi, creates a map of the home, communicates with a smartphone app, and may use cameras or other sensors to recognize obstacles.

That naturally raises privacy and cybersecurity questions.

I do not believe it is reasonable to say that any connected appliance is completely risk-free. That applies whether the manufacturer is Chinese, American, European, Japanese, or Korean.

However, I also do not think that a product should automatically be considered unsafe simply because it comes from China.

ECOVACS states that the T80 and several other DEEBOT models received the Diamond level of UL Solutions’ IoT Security Rating. The company also reports certifications and audits associated with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ETSI EN 303 645, and TÜV Rheinland.

These certifications do not mean that security problems can never occur. They do, however, indicate that the product and the company’s systems have been evaluated against recognized security and privacy frameworks.

ECOVACS also states that users can control some forms of data sharing and request deletion of sensitive data stored on its servers. Its privacy documentation explains that some personal information may be transferred or processed outside the user’s country, depending on the service being used.

My conclusion was that the security risk was acceptable for my household, provided that I followed basic precautions.

I use a unique password for the ECOVACS account, keep the robot’s firmware and app updated, review app permissions, and avoid enabling features that I do not need.

People who are uncomfortable with any cloud-connected device may prefer a simpler robot vacuum that can operate without an account or internet connection.

For everyone else, the most sensible approach is not blind trust or automatic rejection. It is to understand what data the device uses, secure the account properly, and decide whether the convenience justifies the remaining risk.

ECOVACS X, T, and N Series Explained

ECOVACS sells a large number of DEEBOT models, and the naming system can be confusing.

The exact feature set changes between generations, so the series name alone should never replace a comparison of individual models. Still, the X, T, and N lines can be understood in broad terms.

X Series: Flagship Models

The X series is generally the premium or flagship range.

These models tend to receive ECOVACS’ newest navigation, obstacle-recognition, mopping, docking-station, and smart-home technologies first.

They are designed for buyers who want the highest level of automation and are willing to pay more for it.

An X-series model may be the right choice if you want the most advanced hardware available and do not have a strict budget.

For my household, however, the flagship tier was difficult to justify. I wanted strong cleaning performance, but I did not necessarily need every premium feature.

T Series: High Performance Without the Flagship Price

The T series sits in the performance-focused middle of the range.

It often includes many features associated with flagship models, such as advanced mapping, obstacle avoidance, automatic dust collection, mop washing, drying, and stronger mopping systems.

The main attraction is balance.

A T-series model can provide a highly automated cleaning experience without requiring the highest possible budget.

This was the category that made the most sense for me. I wanted more than an entry-level vacuum, particularly because mopping performance and hair management were important.

N Series: More Affordable Everyday Models

The N series is generally aimed at buyers looking for a more accessible price.

These models can still offer useful features such as mapping, vacuuming, basic mopping, and automatic dust collection, but they may omit some of the more advanced cleaning or docking functions found in the T and X lines.

The N series may be enough for someone who primarily wants daily dust and hair removal.

However, because I wanted to reduce both vacuuming and manual mopping, I decided to spend more on a T-series model.

Why I Chose the DEEBOT T80 OMNI Instead of the Newer T90

When I made my decision, the newer T90 generation was available.

The T90 OMNI offers major specification upgrades, including up to 30,000Pa of suction, ZeroTangle 4.0, and a more advanced roller-cleaning system.

Naturally, I considered buying the newer model.

However, it exceeded my budget.

This is where buying the previous generation made more sense.

The T80 OMNI was not suddenly a bad robot vacuum simply because a newer model had appeared. It still offered the features I cared about:

• Strong suction
• A roller-based mopping system
• Anti-tangle brushes
• Automatic dust collection
• Automatic mop washing and drying
• Room mapping
• Obstacle avoidance
• Edge cleaning

The difference was that the older model was much more heavily discounted.

My original budget was below ¥70,000. The Japanese list price of the T80 OMNI was approximately ¥149,800, which was far beyond what I intended to spend.

During a major sale, however, the price dropped by roughly ¥90,000. I purchased it for approximately ¥59,290.

That was still near the upper end of my budget, but it completely changed the value proposition.

At full price, I would have compared it much more closely with newer alternatives.

At around ¥60,000, it became a previous-generation premium machine sold at a mid-range price.

Prices and promotions vary considerably by country, and overseas buyers should not expect the same Japanese sale price. The broader lesson is to watch for discounts when a new generation replaces an older one.

A one-generation-old premium model can sometimes offer better value than a brand-new entry-level model.

What Makes the DEEBOT T80 OMNI Good?

18,000Pa Suction

The T80 OMNI is rated for up to 18,000Pa of suction.

Suction figures do not tell the complete story. Brush design, airflow, navigation, and the number of passes also affect real-world performance.

Still, the T80 has had no difficulty collecting the everyday debris that matters most in our home: hair, dust, crumbs, and fine particles.

Hair was the biggest issue before buying it.

When vacuuming only once a week, loose hair had time to spread through the home and accumulate near walls and furniture.

Running the T80 every day prevents that buildup.

This is one of the key benefits of robot cleaning. Consistency can matter more than a single powerful weekly cleaning session.

ZeroTangle 3.0

Hair collection is useful only if the brush does not become wrapped in hair after every run.

The T80 OMNI uses ECOVACS’ ZeroTangle 3.0 system, including an anti-tangle side brush and a Triple-V main-brush structure.

No anti-tangle system should be interpreted as maintenance-free. Long hair can still require occasional removal.

However, reducing the frequency of manual brush cleaning makes a major difference when the robot is used daily.

A robot vacuum that creates a new maintenance chore every evening defeats part of the purpose of automation.

OZMO Roller Mopping

The roller mop is one of the T80 OMNI’s most important features.

Rather than dragging a static damp pad across the entire floor, the OZMO ROLLER system continuously works on the floor while dirty water is removed from the roller.

ECOVACS states that the roller applies 3,700Pa of mopping pressure and rotates at 200 revolutions per minute.

For me, the practical advantage is straightforward: the machine does more than lightly wipe the floor.

It gives the floor a level of routine wet cleaning that we were not doing manually.

This does not mean it will replace intensive scrubbing of every stubborn stain. Nevertheless, for everyday footprints, fine dust, and light grime, it provides a meaningful improvement over vacuuming alone.

Better Edge Cleaning

Round robot vacuums traditionally struggle with edges and corners.

The T80 uses ECOVACS’ TruEdge system to move the roller mop closer to walls and furniture edges. Sensors help it follow boundaries while reducing collisions.

It still cannot clean every corner exactly as a person can with a narrow attachment.

However, daily edge cleaning reduces the visible line of dust that can otherwise develop along walls.

The OMNI Station Reduces Daily Work

The OMNI station is a major reason to choose this type of robot vacuum.

After cleaning, the robot returns to the station, where dust can be transferred from the robot’s small onboard bin into a larger bag.

The station also handles mop washing and drying.

This means I do not need to empty the robot’s dustbin or hand-wash the mop after every cleaning cycle.

There is still maintenance.

Clean water must be added. Dirty water must be emptied. The station, roller, brushes, filter, and dust bag all require periodic attention.

In particular, I prefer to empty the dirty-water tank soon after mopping. Leaving dirty water inside for too long can lead to unpleasant odors.

The machine does not remove household work completely. It changes frequent, physically repetitive work into shorter maintenance tasks.

That is a worthwhile trade for us.

My First Impression: I Was Not Convinced

When I first watched the T80 clean, I was not immediately impressed.

Its movements did not always look efficient from a human perspective. It turned around furniture, revisited certain areas, and followed routes that I would not have chosen with a handheld vacuum.

I wondered whether it was performing real cleaning or simply moving around the room.

Then I checked what it had collected.

The amount of dust, hair, and fine debris was greater than I expected.

The floor had looked reasonably clean before the run, but the dustbin told a different story.

The dirty water from the mopping system was also evidence that the floor contained more grime than was visible.

That changed my opinion.

A robot vacuum does not need to look intelligent every second. What matters is whether it systematically covers the floor and removes dirt.

The T80 did.

Daily Cleaning Changed the Amount of Dirt in Our Home

During the first several runs, the robot collected a surprising amount of debris.

After using it daily, the amount gradually became smaller.

That does not mean the robot became less effective. It likely means there was less accumulated dirt left to collect.

Before buying the T80, our cleaning pattern was reactive. We waited until the floor looked dirty and then cleaned it.

Now, cleaning is preventive.

The robot removes a small amount of dust and hair every day, before it becomes noticeable.

This has improved more than the physical cleanliness of the floor.

It has reduced the mental burden of seeing hair and thinking, “I need to vacuum this weekend.”

At the heavily discounted price I paid, the decision was much easier.

For approximately ¥59,290 in Japan, I received a robot with strong suction, effective daily hair pickup, roller mopping, automatic dust collection, mop washing, and drying.

For our household, that was excellent value.

The most important benefit is not that the T80 cleans better than a careful person with unlimited time.

The benefit is that it cleans when we would otherwise do nothing.

仕事が終わって帰宅した後は、夕食の準備や洗濯、入浴など、やらなければならないことがたくさんあります。床に髪の毛やホコリが落ちていることに気づいても、「今日は疲れているから、週末にまとめて掃除しよう」と考えてしまうことが何度もありました。

しかし、週末にまとめて掃除しようとすると、今度は一週間分の髪の毛やホコリがたまっています。掃除機をかけるだけでも思った以上に時間がかかり、それだけで休日の貴重な時間が削られてしまいます。

さらに、掃除機をかけた後にクイックルワイパーなどで床を水拭きする余裕までは、なかなかありませんでした。

また、必要のない機能や権限は安易に有効にせず、アプリのプライバシー設定も確認しておくと安心です。

最上位機種ほどの価格は出せないものの、安価なモデルを購入して機能面で後悔するのも避けたい人に適しています。

私も、「掃除機がけと水拭きをしっかり自動化したいが、最上位モデルまでは必要ない」と考え、Tシリーズを中心に検討しました。

床を見ただけでは、それほど汚れていないつもりでした。しかし、実際に集められたゴミを見ると、思っていた以上に床が汚れていたことが分かります。

このとき初めて、「きちんと掃除してくれている」と実感しました。

さらに、毎日使用するようになると、少しずつ回収されるゴミの量が減ってきました。

使った感想。

我が家ではカーペットは使っていませんが、ゴミの吸引は問題なくできていると思います。水拭きですが、普通の設定でやると割と床が濡れるので気持ち少なめの設定でやった方がいいと思います。

プレイした感想

ペルソナシリーズと同じカレンダー形式なので、1日のアクションがとても大事です。1周目で全員との絆MAXにするなら、無駄な行動は避けようと思い、ダンジョンに一度潜入したら問題を解消するまではでないスタイルでやってました。特に最初のダンジョンは、物資も少ないこともあり、途中でMPが尽きるので、マジシャンでひたすら雑魚を殴って、MPを回復しては先に進むというプレイをしてました（笑）。そこがやや作業感強くつらかったのですが、おかげで適正レベルまで育ったので、ボスはほどよい難易度で楽しめました。ただ、最初の街を散策している間に数日あまってしまったので、無理せず撤退してよかったんだなと思いました（笑）。（ペルソナシリーズやったことある人はみんな同じむーぶなはず。。。）

忘れられないのが、最初のダンジョンの雑魚モンスターがヒートライザを使ってきたときはふざけるなと怒りました。こちらはタルカジャを使えるかどうかなのに、なんで全部バフをいきなりる変えるんだ！と思いました。（しかも、難易度はノーマルです。。。）

あと、主人公が割と積極的に話すので、新鮮さがありました。ペルソナシリーズでは主人公はそこまで離さないので、プレイしている人の分身という感じが強かったのですが、メタファーでは主人公が話す場面が多いので、誰かの物語を読んでいるという感覚がありました。たびたび、選択肢があるのですが、一つぐらいふざけた選択肢があるので、選ぶと面白い展開になったりしたので、ぜひ選んでほしいです。

ペルソナシリーズやったことない人は、システムが複雑であることでやや戸惑うこともあると思いますが、チュートリアルのダンジョンでなれると思うのでぜひやってみたほしいです。

続編があるのかはわかりませんが、記憶を消してやりたいレベルの作品だでした。
